To make sure nothing goes wrong at the start of the semester, we have launched the various check-in areas for the events. Here you will always find some hints, accesses and links. 🤓

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic 😷 we have digitally reproduced most of the usual events. A general enrollment for ESE, as it may be common in other faculties, is not necessary for us and is only mandatory for the individual ESE events in attendance.
Please note that we are bound by conditions for the realization of events. We have therefore limited the number of participants to a certain number. In order to guarantee prevention of infection, we also ask you to follow the general hygiene guidelines.
If you enter the Faculty of Computer Science, it is required to wear a mouth-nose cover.
We communicate and publish the enrollments for our ESE presence events in proper time in the various check-in areas.
Most ESE events are realized via livestream. A good livestream of course has a chat. You can easily join the chat with a nickname and chat directly with other freshmen.
Of course we try to make the livestream a bit interactive via chat and social media. So feel free to join us there as well.

We would like to encourage you to participate in the introductory tutorials, Speedfriending or enrollment via webcam. In general, the option is of course optional - but we think that this is very helpful for making contacts in the current times 👆🏼
The ESE tutors of course also try to turn on their webcam.
Oops! Of course it can happen that something goes wrong in our infrastructure. For us it is also the first digital ESE ever. If in doubt, you can check our IT status page to see if we are currently having problems.
Even during the ESE there may be changes to the procedure at short notice. We will inform you about the fastest way via Twitter (@ifsr). In the best case, of course, this can also be done later via our website. When we are fast enough! 🌪️
