Hiking Tours

Easy: Labyrinth Tour - The rock labyrinth is located left of the Elbe south of Königstein. So we take the S-Bahn (S1 to Schöna) to Königstein and walk from there an approx. 15km long round tour with lunch break at the labyrinth.

Medium: Schrammsteinaussicht - We also take the S1 to Schöna from the main station. The Schrammsteinaussicht is located between Bad Schandau and Schmilka on the right side of the Elbe and is connected with some ladders and stairs. But the effort is rewarded by a great view into the Elbe valley (provided of course that the weather is good). The tour is about 11km long.

Medium-difficult: Paffenstein - This route leads from Bad Schandau to Königsstein and goes over ladders, steps and narrow paths. The tour is about 15 km long.

Difficult: Hinteres Raubschloss - This tour is something for experienced hikers. We first go by train (S1 to Schöna) and then by bus a little bit into the Kirnitzsch valley and then hike up to the rear robbery castle. There we climb ladders and stairs up to the rock, where a great view awaits us (in good weather). If you are afraid of space or heights, however, this route is not recommended. The tour is about 17km long.

In all cases you must bring something to eat and drink, sturdy shoes and your student card (semester ticket).
