It's getting serious, here we go. You should definitely be there, because after a short welcome, you'll get an introduction to the most important things you need to know about studying, especially in the first semester. As a thank you for your exemplary attendance, you will receive a gift bag with lots of cool goodies.

Our tutors will explain everything important for the ESE week as well as your studies in Dresden. Together you will visit the "Alte Mensa" for lunch.

A scavenger hunt around campus. Ideal to get to know the campus and new people better. Of course, there's a prize for the best group.

We want to spend a nice evening together with you, and for this occasion, we will provide our game collection. You are welcome to bring your own games as well! There will be waffles made by the AG DSN, and some snacks.

From Dresden you can quickly reach what is probably Germany's most beautiful national park. We want to use this opportunity and go hiking with you. For cycling enthusiasts, there will also be a bicycle tour.

We invite all of you to enjoy a meal of pasta together.

We invite you to spend the evening with us and dive into the student nightlife. Little by little we will work our way from one student club to the next. Students from all other faculties will be there as well. Networking is the keyword.

After this event, you'll know some of the faces you'll often encounter in lectures up front. The lecturers will tell you a bit about themselves, their subject areas and the compulsory lectures of the first semesters. Including anecdotes, there won't be a dry eye in the house!

How to ... survive studying? Ms. Borcea-Pfitzmann from the Examination Office of the Faculty of Computer Science will give you a quick overview about studying Computer Science at the TU Dresden.

The most important appointment of the week. We will enroll you in the timetables and the most important tools. This way, nothing will go wrong in the first semester. At the same time we will answer all your questions in the stream.

Studying is more than just lectures. There are many university groups and associations in which you can participate. Here are some of them. You can also get to know your new fellow students a little better through a few speedfriending rounds.

There will be delicious food from the grill for everyone, and you will also have the opportunity to play games and chat with your fellow students. So be sure to join us!

tuuwi and Bits & Bäume want to give you interesting insights into the topic of digitalisation and sustainability. Additionally, ways of getting involved in sustainability will be presented. Afterwards, there will be the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss the topic at the tables.

Where do all the students go after uni? Take a lab-tour with us and take a look at the realms of research!

Grab a coffee. As an alternative to the info market and ceremonial matriculation at the HSZ, we invite you to our nerdy lecture series "Nerd101".

On the day of the matriculation ceremony, the TU Dresden will hold the Infomarkt in the foyer of the Hörsaalzentrum. Many contact points for all kinds of student issues will be available to answer your questions and provide you with additional information.

This year, we can offer you a guided tour through TUD's HPC Center, the Lehmann Center Data Center (LZR). There are only 20 slots available and we need to take the names of all participants. Typically, there is a lot more demand than supply on the slots. To grant equal chances to everyone, we'll raffle off the slots.

On behalf of the Rectorate and the Senate of the Dresden University of Technology, Professor Ursula M. Staudinger, Rector of the TU Dresden, cordially invites you to the ceremonial matriculation of the students of the new academic year 2023/2024.

The TU Bigband will play and later a DJ from Campusradio Dresden will play. There will be a wide culinary offer.

First we'll take you out for dinner and then show you the Neustadt club scene. Registration via the course system is necessary.

Get to know your mentor as well as the other people in your seminar group and get rid of your urgent questions. You should definitely attend! After enrollment, this is the second most important meeting. This group will accompany you the whole semester. At the same time we have a lecture for you about student participation in your student council.
